چکیده
Abstract Background The surgical indications for liver hemangioma remain unclear. Methods Data from 152 patients with hepatic who underwent hepatectomy between 2004 and 2019 were retrospectively reviewed. We analyzed characteristics including tumor size, parameters, variables associated Kasabach–Merritt syndrome compared the outcomes of laparoscopic open hepatectomy. Here, we describe techniques giant report on two meaningful cases. Results Most (63.8%) asymptomatic. (86.4%) tumors larger than 15 cm. Enucleation (30.9%), sectionectomy (28.9%), hemihepatectomy (25.7%), removal more half (14.5%) performed through (87.5%) (12.5%) approaches. Laparoscopic is an operative time, estimated blood loss, major morbidity mortality rate similar to those hepatectomy, but a shorter length stay. 3D image reconstruction alternative diagnosis planning partial Conclusion main indication surgery (> 10 cm) hemangioma, or without symptoms. was effective option treatment. For extremely hemangiomas, indispensable. Hepatectomy should be by experienced surgeons.

Therapeutic Approaches of Giant Hepatic Hemangioma
Hepatic Hemangioma (HH) are the most common benign tumor of liver, with a prevalence ranging from 3 to 20% in autopsy series [1]. The lesions are considered to be congenital vascular malformations that enlarge by ectasia rather than neoplastic growth [2]. Giant hepatic hemangioma is a benign liver condition that may be treated using surgery. We studied the digital subtraction angiographic (DSA) characteristics of giant hepatic hemangioma, and the effectiveness of transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) alone for its treatment.
